Advanced Tableau is a hands-on, practitioner-focused programme that moves beyond basic charting to master data modeling, performant relationships, polished design, rich interactivity, mapping, complex calculations, and predictive techniques. Through targeted lessons, real assignments and solutions, you’ll learn how to design scalable workbooks, tune performance, use parameter/set actions creatively, build advanced spatial analyses, and integrate statistical tools (R/Python) and extensions for enterprise-ready analytics.

Requirements

  • Comfortable with Tableau Desktop fundamentals (sheets basic calculations filters basic joins). Understanding of table calculations and basic LOD concepts is strongly recommended. Experience working with tabular data (SQL or Excel) and familiarity with data types and date handling. Access to Tableau Desktop (recommended) or Tableau Public. Optional but helpful: basic R or Python familiarity for the predictive integration sections.
